If stress test scores shouldn't be compared to benchmark scores, what's the point in them?

I mean, how am I supposed to know what a good or bad stress test score is?

I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

Stress test scores are somewhat confusing. In general, stress test scores are meant to be compared with other stress test scores from the same machine. For example, if your stress test scores go down over time, that's an indication there's a problem with your computer (most likely a cooling issue). If your stress test scores remain steady, that's a good indication that everything's working as expected.

If you're curious how your machine compares to other machines, we recommend running the regular benchmark tests and comparing the benchmark score with other machines' benchmark scores.

Let me know if you have any other questions and I'd be happy to help out.
