Metrics
Hello, my company is planning on using the geekbench tool for benchmarking for our Windows, Linux and MAC OS platforms. I ran the trial reports and would like to get more details as to what the metrics mean. Also, question what does the purchased cross platform version entail? What is the difference of that vs the free trial version.
Please advise asap as we would like to have this rolled out as soon as we can.
Thank you!

Hi Marianne,
You might find the following pages useful when it comes to interpreting Geekbench results:

http://www.primatelabs.ca/geekbench/doc/benchmarks.html
Purchasing the cross-platform license enables one user to run 64-bit benchmarks and hardware stress tests on Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux.
Best,
John
